Overview
If you're using your own Retell account (instead of the default shared one provided for Awaz users), you'll need to manually fetch and add any ElevenLabs voices you want to use. This guide walks you through how to do that—so you and your clients can access those voices directly from your Whitelabel dashboard.
By the end of this guide, you’ll know how to:
✔ Fetch and import ElevenLabs voices into your Retell account
✔ Clone custom voices using audio samples
✔ Make new voices appear inside your agent voice options in your dashboard
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1 – Log in to Your Retell Account
Log in with the account connected to your Whitelabel dashboard.
💡 Make sure you're logged into the correct Retell account that’s integrated with your Awaz environment.
Step 2 – Go to Any Existing Agent
In your Retell dashboard, click on Agents from the sidebar.
Select any existing agent.
Click on the voice field to open voice options.
Step 3 – Add or Search for a Voice
There are three main ways to add a voice:
🔍 Option A: Search for an Existing ElevenLabs Voice
In the voice selector, type the name or voice ID of a public ElevenLabs voice.
Click to add it to your voice list.
🎤 Option B: Upload an Audio File to Clone a Voice
Click Upload Audio.
Follow the prompts to upload clean voice samples (recommended: WAV/MP3, 1–5 minutes).
Give the voice a name and submit. Retell will process and clone the voice.
📋 Option C: Paste a Voice ID
If you already have a Voice ID from ElevenLabs, you can paste it directly into Retell.
💡 Voice cloning would need at least 5 minutes of your audio to be uploaded.
Step 4 – Voice Appears in Your Whitelabel Dashboard
Once added to your Retell account:
The voice will automatically appear as an option when assigning voices to your AI agents inside your Whitelabel dashboard.
You can test and assign it to any agent from Agent Settings > Voice Selection.
✅ No further action is required on the Awaz side once the voice is inside your connected Retell account.
Tips
🔄 Want the same voice for multiple agents? Just assign it in each agent’s voice settings.
👥 Need to share voices with your clients? As long as they’re using your Whitelabel dashboard and Retell connection, they’ll see all approved voices.
🎧 Use clean audio for best cloning results—remove background noise, music, or overlapping speech.
