Personalizing AI Agent Voice for Natural Conversations
Selecting the right language and voice helps your AI agent sound more natural and relevant to the audience it is speaking with. In Awaz.ai, you can choose one or multiple languages for your agent, allowing it to support multilingual conversations based on your business needs.
You can also select from the available default voices, preview each voice before applying it, or add a new voice directly from the public ElevenLabs voice library.

Open Language Settings
To customize your AI agent’s language and voice:
Go to Agent Settings.
Select the AI agent you want to configure.
Locate the Language field.
Locate the Select Voice field.
From here, you can update the languages your agent can use and select the voice it will speak with during calls.
Select One or Multiple Languages
Awaz.ai now allows you to select multiple languages directly from the language dropdown.
Instead of selecting a separate “Multilingual” option, you can now choose the specific languages you want your agent to support. Once selected, each language will appear inside the language field.
You can select as many supported languages as needed, depending on the markets, customers, or regions your AI agent will be handling.
Example:
If your business serves customers in the United States, Brazil, and Japan, you can select:
English, United States
Portuguese, Brazil
Japanese, Japan
This allows your AI agent to support conversations across those selected languages.

💡 Tip: Instead of selecting a separate “Multilingual” option, you can now select multiple languages directly from the dropdown. Each selected language will appear inside the language field, allowing your agent to support the specific languages you choose.
Select a Voice
After selecting the language settings, you can choose the voice your AI agent will use.
To select a voice:
Click the Select Voice field.
Browse the available default voices.
Click the play button beside a voice to hear a preview.
Click the voice name to select it.
The voice list is now directly connected to the public ElevenLabs voice library.
This means you can focus on listening to the available voice previews and selecting the one that best fits your AI agent’s tone, audience, and use case.
Add a Voice from ElevenLabs
If you want to use a voice that is not already listed by default, you can add a new voice directly from ElevenLabs.
To add a voice:
Open the Select Voice window.
Click the Add Voice tab at the top.
Search for the voice name from the public ElevenLabs library.
Add the voice to your available options.
Return to the voice list and select the added voice.
This allows you to expand your available voice options while keeping the setup process inside the platform.
Save & Test the Voice Output
✔ Click Save Settings after selecting the preferred voice.
✔ Use the "Web Call"/ "Phone Call" feature at the bottom of your Agent's settings to preview the AI’s voice output.
✔ Adjust settings based on clarity, tone, and user feedback.
