Enhancing Campaign Performance with A/B Testing

A/B testing allows you to compare different approaches to outbound call campaigns and refine messaging strategies based on performance data. While Awaz.ai doesn’t have a built-in A/B testing feature, you can manually test variations by:

Using different AI agents for each campaign variation.
Creating separate campaigns with different parameters.
Comparing engagement metrics like pickup rates and conversion outcomes.

Define Variables to Test

Before running A/B tests, identify which elements to test. Some key variables include:

🔹 Agent voice and tone – Does a formal or conversational tone yield better responses?
🔹 Call script variations – Test different AI agent prompts or sales approaches.
🔹 Call timing and frequency – See if outreach at different hours or days improves results.
🔹 Follow-up strategy – Compare immediate vs. delayed follow-ups for engagement.

Set Up A/B Testing in Campaigns

Since A/B testing requires separate variations, you can execute tests in Awaz.ai by:

  1. Creating two or more campaigns under the Campaigns tab, each with a different variable (e.g., one uses a polite, casual AI agent, and the other a formal, direct approach).

  2. Assigning different AI agents to each campaign and customizing their prompts accordingly in Agent Settings.

  3. Using different contact lists for each campaign variation to compare customer segment responses.

  4. Running campaigns simultaneously to measure real-time effectiveness.

Analyze Results & Select the Winning Strategy

Once the campaigns have run for a set period, review key metrics in the Campaign tab to determine which approach performs best:

📊 Pickup Rate: Which script or agent voice encourages more engagement?
📊 Conversion Rate: Which campaign generated the most successful outcomes?
📊 Cost Per Result: Which version yielded the best results at the lowest cost?

Export call data via the Recordings tab to filter and compare A/B test performance.
