Creating and Managing Whitelabel Plans

Set up flexible, branded subscription plans for your clients with currency selection, template restrictions, and multiple plan types.

Overview

The Whitelabel > Plans section allows you to create and manage subscription tiers for your clients. Each plan controls usage limits, pricing, call logic (credits or minutes), and even which agent templates are available. You can offer multiple tiers (e.g., Starter, Pro, Enterprise) and charge clients monthly or annually using Stripe.

Awaz now supports two types of plans:

  • Credits – Usage-based billing where clients top up their wallet with real money

  • Packages – Bundled billing where clients receive a set number of minutes per billing cycle, with the option to continue usage through wallet recharge once those included minutes are used

By the end of this guide, you’ll be able to:

✔ Choose between credits or packages for your plan type
✔ Set your own pricing, currency, and usage limits
✔ Assign templates per plan for more control
✔ Preview how plans appear on the client side

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1 - Access the Whitelabel Plans Section

  1. Log in to your dashboard.

  2. From the left-hand menu, go to Whitelabel > Plans.

  3. Click on the “Add New Plan” dropdown to start creating a new offering.

Step 2 – Select Plan Type: Credits vs Packages

At the top of the form, you’ll now see a Plan Type dropdown. You can choose between:

  • Credits – Clients top up a dollar balance. Calls deduct from their balance.

  • Packages – Clients pay for a set amount of minutes per month or year.

Here’s how it works in Awaz:

  • Packages: Best for structured plans, for example $300/month for 500 included minutes. Once the included minutes are used, the client can continue using the service by recharging credits into their wallet. Additional usage can then follow the tier pricing rules you set for that plan.

  • Credits: Best for pay-as-you-go usage. You set the value of credits, and calls deduct from the client’s available wallet balance. When they run out, clients can top up again as needed.

Available Settings:

  • Currency – Choose your local currency

  • Price – Set the base subscription price for your plan.

  • Recurrence Type – Select how often the user will be billed (e.g., monthly/annualy).

  • Add-On Calls – Add a per minute price on top of the subscription price of your plan.

  • Max. Agents / Max. Users – Set limits for the number of AI agents or end-users included in the plan.

  • Bought Phone Monthly Price – Price per month if a user purchases a new phone number through the platform.

  • Connected Phone Monthly Price – Price for users who connect their own number instead of buying one.

  • Knowledge File Monthly Price – Set a price for uploading and using Knowledge Files in calls.

  • Offer Free Credits – Optionally allow a set amount of free usage credits to be included when a user signs up under this plan (applies only during initial sign-up and trial period; does not carry over to renewals or upgrades).

  • Free Trial – Enable or disable a trial period before billing begins.

  • Require Credit Card on Signup – Choose whether users must enter their card details to activate the plan.

  • Templates – Restrict access to specific agent templates

💡 Tip: Knowledge Files are documents you upload to train AI agents on specific information — like product details, FAQs, or internal policies. The AI can then reference this content during calls to answer questions more accurately.

Note: For White Label users, Awaz does not charge for Knowledge Base uploads. Instead, you’ll be billed directly by Retell for usage, similar to how call cost-per-minute is handled.

Additional Usage After Included Minutes:

With a Packages plan, clients receive a fixed number of included minutes based on their billing cycle, such as monthly or annually.

Once those included minutes are fully used, they can continue using the platform by recharging credits into their wallet from Settings > Billing.

You can also configure tier pricing for this additional usage. This allows you to define different per-minute rates depending on how many extra minutes are consumed after the included package minutes are exhausted.

For example:

  • minutes 1 to 100 can be charged at one rate

  • minutes 101 to 500 can be charged at another rate

  • additional tiers can be added depending on your pricing strategy

This gives you more flexibility in how you bill overage usage while still offering structured package plans.

Step 3 – Add Plan Title and Description

Scroll down to fill in the Plan Title and a short Plan Description.
This will appear during your client's signup.

Step 4 – Assign Templates (Optional but Powerful)

You can now assign specific Agent Templates to each plan.

💡 Use case: You may want to offer real estate-focused templates only in one plan, and marketing templates in another. This allows you to control which templates are available based on the client’s subscription.

  • If you assign specific templates, only those will be visible to users under that plan.

  • If you leave this field empty, the user will see all templates available in your account by default.

Step 5 – Save Your Plan

Once you're done configuring the fields, click Save Plan.
The plan will now be available for your clients during signup or upgrade.

💡 Tip: With Packages, clients begin with a fixed bundle of included minutes. Once those minutes are used, they can recharge credits into their wallet to continue usage. You can combine this with tier pricing to create more flexible overage pricing based on how much additional usage the client consumes.

❓ FAQ

  • Can I offer both Credits and Packages?

Yes—you can create separate plans using either type. Just choose the plan type when creating each plan.

  • Will clients see the difference?

Yes. Clients will either see a dollar credit balance or minutes left, depending on their plan type.

  • What happens when a client uses all included minutes in a Packages plan?

Once the included minutes are fully used, the client can continue using the platform by recharging credits into their wallet from Settings > Billing. Any additional usage after that can follow the tier pricing rules configured for the plan.
